Introducing a popular monk among the old generation which new generation collectors may not be familiar with !

Roop Meung (Image) Phim Yai (Large mold) BE2505 (54 years ago) of Phor Tan Klai of Wat Suan Kan, Nakhon Sithamarat province. This is a popular mold among the amulets of Phor Tan Klai as the material uses Nur Chan Mak which is actually betel leaves and nuts chewed by LP himself and 'blessed' it with katha and then make into this batch of amulets.

It was further being mass chanted by Phor Tan Klai himself, Phra Ajarn Tim of Wat Changhai (famous LPT maker), LP Kong Wat Baan Suan (the famous Donny Yen KP), LP Parn Of Wat Kao Or, LP Moon of Wat Kao Daemg Ta Wan Ork, Ajarn Chum Chaikiri etc

This batch is very effective and experience in wealth, luck, help etc as it has been around since years.

For those who yet to know abt this great monk, he is one of the senior monk among the clan of Wat Kao Or (school of wicha in Southern Thailand) and also one of the senior masters sat chanted for the famous Be2497 Wat Sri Mahatat batch which many always says the KP of Ajarn Chum. Infact he is senior among most of them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biography of Phor Tan Klai

Luang Phor Klai (Phor Than Klai) is one of the respectable monk and famous southern monk. It was rumoured that whatever he said or predicted, often came true, and that is why he was given the title "Golden Mouth" by many.

When Luang Phor Klai was 14 years old, he went with his uncle to chop firewood and the tree he was chopping fell towards him and squashed his left leg. Luang Phor Klai though it was nothing much just a small injury and did not seek for medical attention, but eventually it become worse and worse. His left ankle was shattered upon inspection, it swelled till very big, started going gangrenous and the pain was unbearable couldn't be cured.

One day when Luang Phor Klai couldn't bear the pain any more, he took a sharp knife and chopped of the swollen ankle region. When someone found out he did that, they were shocked and immediately went to find herbs to help him to stop bleeding and found a medicinal healer to cure him.

Eventually Luang Phor Klai had trouble getting around and usually moved around on water buffalo. After Luang Phor Klai become less mobile due to this, he ordained at the age of 15 and by the age of 26 he become the temple abbot.

Luang Phor Klai was born in 1876 and passed away in 1970 (B.E. 2513) at the age of 94 years old and his body is still intact and present for viewing at Wat Tatt Noi (Wat Chan Di).

During that time, Luang Phor Klai become one of the very respectful monks by the Thai King. A lot of mystery things happen on Luang Phor Klai and when he past away, they try to burn his body but no one else can burn it although they try a few times. The final time, Thai King himself try to burn it but unfortunately only can burn one of his toe.

Around 60 years ago, Luang Phor Klai had made a batch of Jatukam amulets. LP have two students. Both of them had become Ajarn. One of the students is Ajarn Khun Pan. The saiz of the Jatukam amulet is more bigger than now a day. And the price of those Jatukam amulet already very expensive. The out look of the Jatukam amulet is not as nice as now. The amulet that made by Luang Phor Klai is very collectable. Luang Phor Klai is one of the high rank monks and become one of the respectful monks in the Thailand.

Story behind Phor Than Klai

When people in West Malaysia heard of the legend of the "Golden Mouth" monk, a lot of people went Thailand and looking for Luang Phor Klai to ask for lottery numbers but eventually Luang Phor Klai shook his head and did not say anything. Someone found a way around it, instead of asking for a number the man show Luang Phor a number and asked whether it was nice. Luang Phor Klai replied that it was not bad and the man bought lottery and strike a lot of money.

Kumanthong lovers !

Golden Doll Be2551 of 93rd birthday batch (he is 101yrs old this year and 74 years in momkhood) of Luang Pu Yeam of Wat Sang Ngam of Painted gold version. Powder being mixed child ashes, cemetry soils from 7 holy grounds and sacred powder of formulae as passed down from his master, the late LP Tae. This batch is the look of the actual 1st batch of LP Tae but in mini pocket wearing version.

@@@Biography of Luang Pu Yeam@@@

Ajahn Yeam, was born on Jan 5th 1915, “Yaem Dejmak”, the son of Mr. Yhaem and Mrs. Wongse Dejmak. He was born at 42 Moo 4, Dontoom Sub-district, Banglen District, Nakhorn Pathom.

He entered the priesthood on the 2nd May, 1938 at the principal monastery of Sam Ngam Temple, officiated by the Reverend Father Utarakarnbodi (Sook Pathumwasano) of Huay Jorakhe Temple, the Reverend Father Tae Kongthong, the abbot of Sam Ngam Temple, and the Reverend Petch.

After passing the Buddhist exams, he continued to study meditation, magic incantation, and magic drawing from the Luang Phor Tae Kongthong who was his master. He gained a lot of knowledge from Luang Phor Tae. He is the appointed Master, or a first-class abbot of a private temple, Wat Sam Ngam. His position is similar to that of Assistant Abbot of a first-class royal temple and is duty bound to sustain the Buddhist religion.

Luang Phor Yeam is highly revered and respected for his powerful mind developed from meditation and mantra, ancient astrology, traditional medicine, magic drawing and incantation, and of course his amulets. His powers are well known both locally and internationally. Because of this he is invited to many temples in Nahhon Pathom to participate in sacred ceremonies. He is a major disciple of the Reverend Father Tae Kongthong, a famous guru master.

He is a major disciple of the Reverend Father Tae Kongthong, a famous guru master.

Luang Phor Tae of course is an exceptionally well known guru master, known particularly for Guman Thong. The Reverend Father Tae Kongthong was a disciple of the Reverend Father Ta of Paniengtaek, the Reverend Father Chaem of Takong Temple, and the Reverend Father Wongse of Tungpakgood Temple.

These monks were highly respected by the Reverend Father Tae Kongthong and the Reverend Father Yeam was to often to meet the Reverend Father Chaem of Takong Temple during his visits to Wat Sam Ngam and was able to add considerably to his own knowledge. Furthermore, the Reverend Father Yaem learnt from other masters, people and priests such as the Reverend Father Luea of Saow Cha Ngoak Temple, Chachoengsao Province.

The Reverend Father Yeam Thanayooto was appointed to be the abbot of Sam Ngam Temple in 1957 and as a verbal declarer in the same year. He has followed the Reverend Father Tae’s methods regardless of religious duties or meditation. He has a very good memory and will always share his knowledge with other people. We were very lucky to have spent a great deal of time with the Reverend Father Yeam, discussing his life and learning more about the Golden Idol amulet. One of the most fascinating facts he told us, was that he had not washed for 40 years as instructed by his Master, LP Tae.

After death of the Reverend Father Tae Kongthong, the Reverend Father Yeam Thanayooto was appointed as abbot of Sam Ngam Temple on the 1st December 1982. He used all of his knowledge and experience to develop the temple, principal monastery, secondary monastery, study hall, funeral place, and other monasteries.

The amulets of the Reverend Father Yeam are very famous because of the miracles and experiences associated with them. His first amulets were made in 1963, and are now very scarce.

Just in contact with an old devotee of Luang Pu Moon Wat Baan Jaan who is residing in Sakaew province. He had some amt of 1st batch Roop Meung and 1st batch Phra Khunphaeng Be2542 of Luang Pu Moon when Luang Pu was initially residing at Wat Pah Nom Lom, Sakaew Province. This is the 1st batches which contains super sacred materials of Luang Pu Moon that is so efacious causing devotees to keep getting his amulets of following batches !

I always have enquiries that why the pricing of Luang Pu Moon keeps rising. Answer is simple. Demand is there as not to forget, he is one of the oldest masters during that era and amulets made then til now was greatly experience by many ppl and dare to highly recommend. It goes the same for me which i ever counter and had gd experience myself except the downpart is the high renting price of certain batches which create the myth that his amulets are expensive but not many knows that infact this period i had been cracking minds to find and expand my resources to find cheaper versions which was made and done by Luang Pu Moon in his early days in Wat Pah Nong Lom, Sakeaw before he resided at Wat Baan Jan, Srisaket.

Recommending today (i super highly recommend and you can ask your thai friends who knows abt Luang Pu on this batch and very sure they will say it is very good) is the Very 1st Phra Khunphaeng & Very 1st Roop Meung aka Image (which this Roop Meung is termed as Nang Tang) made by Luang Pu Moon under his name with own materials by himself and was release of Wat Pah Nong Lom in Be2542 and i repeat again, the very 1st Phra Khunphaeng & Roop Meung made by Luang Pu himself !

Here is a biography of Luang Pu Moon to those who maybe new to him.

Luang Pu Moon Titasilo of Wat Baan Jan temple, Sisaket province was one of the greatest guru of present time who leaves to the age of 109 years from King Rama 5-9 era.

Luang Pu was born on 15 April B.E. 2437 at Sisaket province to farmer parents. He was a novice monk at the age of 14 and practiced Buddhism under the guidance of Phra Ajarn Sida, the abbot of Wat Baan Jan before ordaining as a monk in B.E. 2460 at the age of 23.

In his life time of monkhood, Luang Pu Moon went Tudong (practice Forest Monastry) round the Thailand, Laos & Cambodia ) seeking great gurus who can teach him more on Dharma and Magical practices.

Luang Pu spent more than 50 years meeting many great gurus and inherited the skill of making sacred powder sspecially from Phra Ajarn Sri Chantasiri, who was from the same lineage of Somdej Phra Puttakjan Toh, Wat Rakang temple & obtained the formulae of using sacred powders for making effective amulets. Luang Pu Moon also learned making of alloy-based amulets from Somdej Phra Sangkarat Pae (Wat Suthat) and Mitmor (Magical Knife) from Luangpu Kam and Luangpor Ngen, both teachers of Luang Phor Derm of Wat Nong Pho, Nakon Sawan.

Below are a list of masters whom Luang Pu Moon had met and learned from:

Phra Ajarn Sida (preceptor)
Luang Pu Mun Burisato, Sakon Nakhon
Luang Pu Waen Suchino Wat Doi Mae Phang, Chiangmai
Somdej Sangkarat Pae Wat Suthat, Bangkok
Luang Pu Nak Wat Arun, Bangkok
Ajarn Tim Wat Changhai,(famous Ajarn who made LPT BE2497) Pattani
Luangpu Kron (Tok Raja) Wat Bangsek (Kelantan)
Phor Tan Klai Wat Suan Kan, Nakon Sithamarat
Ajarn Singh Wat Pa Sarawan
Luang Phor Jak Wat Bangabao
Luang Pu Kam Wat Kao Kaew (teacher of Luang Phor Derm Wat Nong Pho)
Luangpor Ngen Wat Mak Plangluang (teacher of Luang Phor Derm Wat Nong Pho)
Luang Phor Son Wat Seangsang
1 Luang Phor Kway Wat Kositaram, Chainat

Amulets created by Luangpu Moon were very effective and highly sought-after by followers. Phra Luangta Maha Bua of Wat Pa Bantard temple once said to those who are seeking good and effective amulets to go to Luangpu Moon.

Luang Pu Moon returned to Wat Ban Jan temple in B.E. 2520 and passed away in his hut on the 11 March B.E. 2546 @0730am at the age of 109 years and 86 years of monkhood.

In present Thailand, many devotees who asked favours from LP was being answered though LP had passed away since Be 2546 and proven one of the holy monks that had given answers to devotees !

Presenting to u, Phra Indra Pheng (incarnation aka orginal form of Sihuhata aka 4 ears 5 eyes).

This batch was made in BE 2541 of Prai Ngern or Nur Chern Nourn Ngern (melted from old ancient silver used for funerals) of Kruba ChaiyaWong Sabatthana of Wat Phra Puttabart Huai Tom which is one of the pioneers of Northern monks which uses the original formulae to make this. At present, the most famous maker of Sihuhata is Kruba Boon Yang of Wat Huay Nam Won and Kruba ChaiyaWong is his master which taught him this art of making and consercation.

According to history on how Kruba Chaiyawong begins to make this Phra Indra Pheng was that there is one morning Kruba ChaiyaWong woke up in the morning and told Kruba Srivichai about a strange dream he had about a creature with 4 ears and 5 eyes. Then Kruba Srivichai told Kruba Wong that is Phra Sihuhata who is an incarnation of the Phra Indra Pheng

According to legend Phra Indra Pheng was looking from the heavens and saw a hardworking farmer with a sick mother to look after. Phra Indra Pheng decended to earth to help this farmer and disguised as a monster with 4 ears and 5 eyes. To test the farmer he destroy all his crop and the farmer found out about this and tie Phra Sihuhata up. He then went to do some cooking for his sick mother, he saw Phra Sihuhata look hungry and left some food for him then went to his mum. When he came back he saw Phra Sihuhata ate the charcoals and was shitting gold, the farmer became rich after that. So this becomes a custom that using charcoal to worship Phra Indra Pheng or Phra Sihuhata.
